The staff at Wodonga Gardens are dedicated to making our community a harmonious, relaxed and enjoyable place to live. To reduce the work our residents do in retirement our staff includes gardeners and maintenance personnel. Meet Estate Manager Ruth Kernaghan
Ruth has over 25 years experience in the local retirement industry. From 1999 to 2012, she managed a former Gannon Retirement Estate and rejoined the Gannons when they commenced their project at Wodonga Gardens Retirement Estate.
Ruth, who is an avid Elvis fan, grew up in Albury/Wodonga and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Ruth loves her job, whether it be selling homes, working with the residents resolving their issues or developing events and activities for the community. Her favourite place on the Estate is the bar, which is where friendships are formed and cemented.
The most rewarding aspect of Ruths’ job is introducing residents and watching friendships form. She looks forward to meeting new residents and introducing them to the lifestyle.
